Her Darkest Nightmare by Brenda Novak: ‘‘Evelyn Talbot knows that a psychopath can look perfectly normal. She was only sixteen when her own boyfriend Jasper imprisoned and tortured her—and left her for dead. Now an eminent psychiatrist who specializes in the criminal mind, Evelyn is the force behind Hanover House, a maximum-security facility located in a small Alaskan town.”- THE BOOK FOR ME!
The Thief by Fuminori Nakamura : A suspense thriller prose following the journey of an ordinary thief until he gets tangled up in a murderous affair.
The Kingdom by Fuminori Nakamura: Okay, I just discovered this author and I have to read all his books. Look at this blurb, man.
”Yurika poses as a prostitute, carefully targeting potential Johns, selecting powerful and high-profile men. When she is alone with them, she drugs them and takes incriminating photos to sell for blackmail purposes..”
The Complete Wheel Of Time by Robert Jordan : ” Taking place both in our past and our future, the saga tells the story of a man destined to face the Evil One and save the world—or destroy it in the process.”
Outrun The Moon by Stacey Lee: A historical fiction following the story of Mercy Wong, who wants to adventure in an Elite school and break away from her poverty in Chinatown. A memorable earthquake will come in Chicago and change her life.
Holes by Louis Sachar: Holes! Holes! Holes, everywhere! A classic in young adult literature. Definitely need to check it out! Thanks Holly @ Nut Free Nerd!
The Rook by Daniel O’Malley: I only checked this out cause the cover and title reminded me of chess. And I love chess. But the blurb makes this sound pretty darn fun too though! 😛
The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin: This sounds like the most perfect end of the world story in adult fiction. I’ve seen it around quite often, and now I just need to read it ASAP! 😀
City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett: Spies, history being erased, a shift between oppressors and the oppressed, this novel sounds absolutely fantastic.
A Curious Beginning by Deanna Raybourn: People want you dead. You seek the truth. It’s set in Victorian England. Who would skip a historical fiction slash mystery!?
Batman : The Killing Joke (Animated Movie) : – Trang: Okay I didn’t like the 1st part of the movie but the second part was great hih ❤
– Lashaan: Eargasm to hear Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy reprising their original roles. But I agree with Trang, first part was.. garbage..
Death Note 3 (with N) Live-Action Movie : – Trang: AHHHHHHHHH ❤ N was my favourite character since I was 10 years old 😀
Ocean’s Eleven: – Lashaan: Finally got to watch this heist movie! Great performances and hilarious moments.
Inglourious Basterds: – Lashaan: THIS MOVIE IS A MASTERPIECE!!! And Christopher Waltz is amazing man. God.
Trang: Favourite dance video of the month !!
Lashaan: CHRISTOPHER NOLAN IS BACK!! AND HE’S BACK WITH MORE OF HIS CINEMATIC AWESOMENESS AND TOM HARDY BY HIS SIDE!! LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS BADBOY!!
