PERSONAL LIVES
Trang
I did mention in this post what’s going on in my personal lives and so I’m going to just give a quick update ! My Mom’s surgery is going to be this Tuesday October 2, 2018 and I’m praying with all my soul that it is going to do well. I thank everyone for their support <3, as much as I love to answer every single comment, I would find some time to do so. I still love blogging and that’s something I would keep doing no matter what 😀

September marked the beginning of my PhD degree in criminology! This brand new chapter will likely be one of the toughest challenges yet, but I’m all in for anything that keeps my mind stimulated. I just have to have a nice grip on my current level of motivation, since without it, no one could possibly survive such a task. So far it has just been a period of adaptation, but I can already see how time management is going to be key if I want to have anything completed. Nothing like juggling a bunch of different activities at the same time (work, school, working out, blogging, etc.). There’s no time like the present to do it all, right? 😁😁
Thank you all for checking out our monthly wrap-up and don’t forget to check out any posts that might interest you and that you might have missed out on!
So what’s going on with y’all? What have you discovered this month? What are your thoughts on the books/TV shows/movies we’ve mentioned?
Yours truly,
Lashaan & Trang
Interest choice for the Predator being your favorite movie Trang. I haven’t heard much good about this one, but me being a huge Predator fan, I am definitely looking forward to seeing it. I really hope that your mum’s surgery will go well today: I will keep my fingers crossed and I wish you, your mum and Lashaan all the best😊
Lashaan also a great choice with Leon. Definitely a classic film, that I really enjoyed with some great performances all around. Truly a solid and powerful film.
Thank you both for another great month of reviews (and adding things to my to read list 😊😊)

Thanks for the warm wishes, Michel. I’m sure Trang appreciates it too. 😉 And yes! Léon has been on my watch list for so long and I’m glad to have finally seen it. Definitely a classic in its own right with a wonderful ending too. It’s nice to dive back into those 90s movies here and then. 😛 Glad to be the bane of your TBR. 😉 Happy reading and anime/action-movie-watching to you too, sir! 😀

Thank you so much Michel 😀 it means a lot ! My Mom just got home yesterday and well ❤ and yes I loved Predator LOL especially because I didn't like the last one, being a huge Predator fan myself. I loved the humor and how they are not trying too hard to make it a suspense anymore. It still has its gory moments but a very good movie nonetheless.

Aww, that is such great news to hear. I’m very happy that your mum already came home, and the operation went well.😊 Truly the best news I have read all day. Hope your mum will recover soon, and please think about yourself as well: find some time to rest when you can 😊
I look forward to seeing it. I have missed it in the theatres unfortunately (it was gone really fast here), but I will catch it on dvd when it comes out 😊😊

Absolutely love the US covers for it. Even the UK ones are pretty amazing; they’re soooo beautiful! ❤ I really hope you get around to reading it though! And yes! I've seen Jean Reno here and then in other movies, but I think it was about time I finally saw him in The Professional! Quite the movie. ❤ Happy reading to you, Sophie!

My goodness, it sounds like your folks lives are just crammed at the moment. And it doesn’t sound like things will be un-cramming any time soon.
Good luck 🙂
