Omg this looks/sounds so awful, and yet, a part of me wants to see this train wreck for the laughs alone. 😛

Wait … Swamp Thing had a sequel. I knew about the first movie, but it had a sequel?
I’m not sure whether I’d find this hilariously bad or mind-numbingly boring. I must ask though, who asked for this? Who green lit this movie? Who thought that an overpowered superhero demolishing all of his opponents, with no real threat, would be entertaining? Even with the worst superhero movies I’ve seen, like Shock! Shock! Shock!, Catwoman, and the 1977 made-for-TV Dr. Strange movie, the villain is at least a mild threat.

Yep. A sequel that never should have existed hahaha I honestly think it could fall into the “hilariously bad” category for you, based on previous discussions we’ve had. It’s sad that this was Swamp Thing’s cinematic treatment but at least he got a much more recent TV series (although now canceled) that does it more justice than anything before it!

As great as a character as Swamp Thing is, he’s kind of a hard sell to general audiences. Can’t say I’m surprised that the TV show didn’t do so well.

Just looking at that cover I don’t want to torture myself. It sounds horrible.

This sounds like the kind of movie one watches while laughing hysterically at the overall badness while throwing popcorn at the screen… 😀

It really was one of those movies that you just laugh at how bad it is and then regret that you wasted time on it hahahah

In this case it appears you CAN judge a book, or movie, by its cover. That movie poster pretty much says it all. 🙂

Right? I knew it was going to be bad but I didn’t know how bad. 😛
